New Photo Gallery - Stray Rein Blossom Trees | 6th January 2010

[Below] Footage filmed in and around the Cherry Blossom Stray Walk area of Harrogate Town on a glorious sunny lunchtime break 6th of January 2010.

This time I've tried out the HD recording facilities on my Digital Canon 500D SLR camera and I'm pretty impressed with the quality all things considered.

18th December 2009 - New Harrogate Video

I've enjoyed making these little video edits the past couple of months. I enjoy the simple fact that they work like a little virtual website TV window. I've blatently cut in a bit of product placemnet (my 1st atempts at producing a commercially viable form of Greetings Card). but nothing to heavy and as a result it's helped fuel a few extra sales.

However, the bigger picture for video on my side is to start producing more stock video footage for general site content. While a still image may paint a thousand words a video clip spells it out. Not all website video content needs to be hard sell as part of the commision remit for it to justify it's inclusion. It could be a way of expressing your values, belieafs and vision instead. It could be a platform for the use of soscial media benifits (A big buzz on that at the mo). Why consider the benifits of having a litter side to your site (All work and no play and all that). Clearly allot of implication to consider before hand... it's certainly not for everyone.

Who would benifits and how?

Examples of application...

Technology keeps it safe and simple. From DIY with basic hands on skill sets (like me) to fully intergrated CMS controled environments. Larger organisation could develope internal office social media networs to promote team building and genral welfare HR

Christmas Cards for 2009...

I think I've got my short-list of images sorted. However, I'm only planning a limited release of 4 of the images running about 200 of each. Which means they'll be exclusive but due to short-run printing costs a little more pricey than your average Christmas Card at around £1.75 each TBC (12cm x 12cm/blank inside with plain white envelope). My good friend Marcus Bailey who owns Brighton Print and Media House (www.bpmh.co.uk) has kindly offered to do a the print run at mates-rates to test the market and keep the costs involved to an absolute minimum. If successful I'll be looking to turn a bit more of my personal photographic work in to larger runs (and thus getting the unit price down) and put them into a simple online shop. In the mean time please do get in touch with your suggestions for the final 4 for this year... They must go to print next week! (famous last words)

Affordable photographic art prints for sale

I take orders for single or full sets of prints which are also available mounted or mounted & framed in 3 sizes of square aperture. Mounted prints all fit standard frames. I generally buy mine from either Athena (Slim black alloy) or Habitat (Chunky black stained solid wood) so you're not tied to my style if you have something more in keeping with your surroundings. Likewise, images don't have to be cropped square. Images can be custom mounted to order and size or you can just buy the print (even cheaper!) and take it to your local framer.

Prices start from as little as £5 per signed print (small) + Postage and Packaging - Overseas enquires welcome. I accept PayPal or cheques but they must clear before I post out the goods.
